I was listening to the Hunchback of Notre Dame OST a few weeks ago and when it got to the song “Out There”, the movie Tangled came to mind. I just had this idea of Rapunzel sitting next to Quasimodo either telling him she knew exactly what he was going through or them just there, sitting silently side by side since they’re both in the same exact situation.

I tried drawing it before but I’ve never drawn Disney (I used to trace it when I was 5 but that doesn’t count xD) and unfortunately I had little luck finding good reference of Quasimodo. So it was hard and I gave up. This is today’s try.

I had NO IDEA what to do with her hair… in the original it was pretty much covering her entire body since it’s so much hair. I tried putting it to the side this time to try and show her figure/silhouette.

I don’t like how Quasi came out yet… I was trying to get some sadness in him but the hunchback makes that a really hard process. From what I can tell when we see him from the back his head really doesn’t show up at all.

Also It’s been YEARS since I’ve seen THoND so I think I got confused on his size…
